  The MMIFF Champions League (MCL), organized under the banner of the MMIFF Cricket Academy (MCA), is a premier cricketing platform of the Mentor & Mascot Indian Film Federation (MMIFF).  It is designed as a prestigious platform that unites the passion of cricket with the discipline of professionalism. With its inclusive structure for both Men’s and Women’s Divisions, the league aspires to become a benchmark in competitive cricket—celebrating talent, sportsmanship, and the spirit of champions.

  • Player Pool: Open to students, academy players, state-level talents, and emerging cricketers from across India.

Format Overview

  • Number of Teams: 16 (8M+8W)(University-based)
     
  • Team Representation: Each team represents a University.
     
  • League Format:
     
    • Stage 1 – Group Phase (Round Robin):
       
      • 16 teams divided into 4 Groups (A, B, C & D).
         
      • Each team plays 3 matches within the group.
         
    • Stage 2 – Knockouts:
       
      • Top 2 teams from each group qualify for Semi-Finals.
         
    • Stage 3 – The Final:
       
      • Winners of Semi-Finals compete for the MMIFF Champions League Trophy.
         
  • Match Format: T20 (20 overs per side).
     
  • Duration: Approx. 20 days (including rest days).
